How to fix Creative Cloud desktop app when it won't open
If the Creative Cloud desktop app won't open and displays any of the following messages, follow the instructions in the message.
- Your apps are taking longer than usual. Relaunch Creative Cloud or restart your computer and try again.
- Loading applications seems to be taking longer than usual.
- Creative Cloud seems to be taking longer than usual to initialize.

If the Creative Cloud desktop app still won't open, try the solutions below until resolved.

Select the three vertical dots icon in the upper-right corner and choose Quit.
Browse to the following location based on your operating system.
The AppData folder is hidden in Windows by default. See Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows for instructions to access it.
/Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
The UsersLibrary is hidden by default for macOS 10.7 and above. See Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later for instructions to access it.
Delete all the files within the OOBE folder, but do not delete the folder itself.
Restart the computer and launch the Creative Cloud desktop app again.
Note:
The app can take slightly longer than usual to load with this solution, as content in the OOBE folder is rebuilt while launching. Audacity for windows 10 review.
If you are on an older operating system, upgrade it to the latest one. The latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app is supported only on the following operating systems:
- Microsoft® Windows 10 (64 bit only)
- macOS v10.12 and later
Sign in to the Creative Cloud website to begin downloading the Creative Cloud desktop app.
